New Module Installed at Space Station

Astronauts have finished installing a new observation deck at the International Space Station. The job took several hours early Monday morning. Jammed bolts made it a long, frustrating task. A pair of astronauts used a robotic arm to secure the $27 million dollar lookout to its permanent home on a new room at the station. The room with its, Italian-designed observation dome, has been named "Tranquility." The lookout module has seven windows, including the largest bay window ever sent into space. It's expected to provide unprecedented 360-degree views of Earth, space and the space station itself. The crew will have to wait until later in the week to look through the windows. The shutters will be unlocked during the mission's third and final spacewalk Tuesday night and cranked open Wednesday or Thursday The shuttle crew is set to undock on Friday and head back to the Kennedy Space Center.
